The Beginning

Alright.
This is going to be my first real attempt at blogging, save for my blog concerning my trip to Japan. That however, was more for my family and friends.

This, this is for me. Well, for you too. If anyone reads this, I'm not even sure what this is going to be about.

I should have a topic, I suppose. I just don't have a clue what it should be. I have a strange feeling this is going to be a reoccuring theme here. But that is what this is all about. Not having a clue, and figuring out how to obtain one.

Well, may as well start with introductions I suppose. Always best to start with the beginning.

I'm Clarissa. 19, and a University Student. I'm sure you could have figured that much out from my profile though. You seem pretty smart.

My current major is Psychology. I'm a second year student, working my way through to my BA.

That...might change though. I have this strange little problem, of currently hating my major. With a passion.

A fiery, burning passion.

Don't get me wrong, I used to love it. I also used to love Sailor Moon. Tastes change.

Psychology is indeed probably one of the most interesting majors ever, and I do enjoy certain aspects of it. Just not everything I'm going to have to do in order to obtain my degree in it. Then go off to grad school in order to DO anything with it.

So, I have a problem.

There are too many options for what I want to do with my life. Debating between Culinary School, changing my degree to one in Youth and Child Care, or Education, or sticking out my Psychology to the bitter end. Or even dropping out all together.

I'm creating this blog in order to try and figure these things out, but also to relax and share with others the thing I'm interested in.

Obviously, by the Culinary School option, I love food. Not just eating it, either. Baking is a great stress reliever for me. So some pictures and stories about things I'm baking will probably end up on here, you never know.

Crocheting. I learned it over the course of last summer, and slowly...very slowly am getting a bit better at it. Possibly things I have been making will end up on here as well.

Maybe music I'm listening to, books I'm reading, things I'm writing, really anything I feel like posting on here.

As well, there will most likely be a few more rants like this one, simply to pass the time, and maybe even keep someone entertained.

I don't know what people enjoy, but this is just going to be me, exploring the rest of the year, and hopefully figuring out where I'm going in the future.

It should be an interesting ride.
