Well, So Much For This..

Well,

To think I thought had the discipline to actually keep up a blog on a regular basis that would actually be...interesting. Ha..ha ha. Honestly this summer has not involved as much crocheting and such as I would have hoped. Nor have I read anything as of late. Yep, life is interesting.

I've been to many movies though, hoo man. Cheap Tuesdays are a gift, I tell you. Xmen: First Class is my favourite of the summer thus far, perhaps it is not completely accurate to the comics, but it was still very much enjoyable. Also I love Xmen, so it's kind of a given. The plot was engaging, and the comedic portions were actually entertaining, unlike in The Green Lantern, where I felt many of the jokes just...fell flat. In other movie news, Harry Potter. So. Freaking. Stoked. Although I have a feeling there's no way I'm going to make it to opening night, seeing as I have to work a buffet the next day at work. Not cool.

First part of season 6 of Doctor Who finished a few weeks ago. I was conflicted about this season, as I slowly grew to dislike Amy's character more and more. Holy that ending though, it was brilliant. Sure, I figured it out halfway through the episode, but still, awesome nonetheless. Nearly caught up on Torchwood, on Season 3 episode 4 at the moment. Trying to get caught up before Miracle Day gets too far in. Ahh Jack Harkness.
Finally watched the last episode of the first season of Sherlock. For the longest time I thought I had seen it, suddenly realizing no, I hadn't. Pretty stoked for the second season of that as well.

Yep...this is super interesting, isn't it?

To be honest I'm just putting off cleaning for a while.

Oh! To anyone who does actually make it this far, or does actually read this, you need to check out Zee Avi. She is amazing artist, and set to release her second CD at the end of august. You should listen to some of her songs, and if you like her, support her on pledgemusic.com. I've been listening to her music first on youtube, and then when her first CD, a self titled album, came out. Her voice is wonderful, and easy to listen to. Definitely check her out!
