So....Close...

Well, well, well,

Yep, it's been another long while since a post. I know, lame. I figured now would be a good time though, considering I'm procrastinating writing an essay.

As good a time as any, I suppose.

Hard to believe this semester is already drawing to a close. It's been go, go, go for the past few weeks, with essays, tests, and assignments. Got to say, I'm looking forward to March being over. Feels like it never will be, right now. Just a couple more weeks. Lord, give me strength.

Although I've been a complete shut in as of late, contrary to my earlier goal of going out every weekend, I have actually procrastinated my work enough to get some crocheting done.

...No, that does not mean I finished the cardigan I've been working on since before Christmas. I really, really need to do that though.

No, I wanted something simple, something that wouldn't take hours and hours of work.

This is what I found. It turned out surprisingly cute, considering the only yarn I have is very, very pink.

I'm considering taking up embroidery, as well. I've never tried it before, but I figured hey, may as well try something new, right? Maybe after all my classes are done, I'll attempt to find an embroidery hoop to purchase. I'm sure there has to be one somewhere. Maybe I should try knitting too...we'll see.

As far as baking goes, it's been cookie mania lately. I'm sure my ghostly roommates don't mind though. They are ghosts, by the way, in the fact that I barely see them, and can count on one hand the number of times I have talked to them both.

Seriously though, chocolate cookies, lemon cookies, Bailey's Irish Cream cookies, it's just never ending. Well, I suppose it does have an end. In my thighs. That, however, is another matter entirely.

Exercise is another thing that has been on my mind recently. Being part of PhillyD's Nation, I am of course subscribed to Trainer David's videos on youtube. A couple weeks ago I worked up the courage to actually attempt one of his workouts. He says that they should be done at least three times, with two minute breaks in between.

Let's just say, that's not exactly how things went down, and I am way more out of shape than I realized. It's a start, though. Man, was I sore.

That's pretty much it, thus far. I'm thinking once I'm back home for the summer, and have a camera again, I'm going to try for more regular posts, with baking, crocheting, hell, maybe even some book reviews.

Hopefully.

Clarissa
